Thank you for your interest in supporting Warriors Healing Center LLC. This Donation Policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply to all donations made to our organization.

1. Nature of Donations

Voluntary Contributions

All donations made to Warriors Healing Center LLC are voluntary charitable contributions. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

  • Your donation is a voluntary gift to support our mission
  • You are not purchasing any goods or services
  • You are not receiving any ownership interest in the organization
  • Your donation does not entitle you to any special treatment or consideration

No Goods or Services Provided

In accordance with IRS regulations, we confirm that no goods or services were provided in exchange for your donation unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. This ensures the full amount of your donation may be eligible for tax deduction.

2. Tax Deductibility

Warriors Healing Center LLC is a registered organization with EIN 37-1742449. Donations may be tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. However, the tax treatment of your donation depends on your individual circumstances. We recommend consulting with a qualified tax professional to determine the deductibility of your contribution.

Upon request, we will provide a written acknowledgment of your donation for tax purposes. For donations of $250 or more, we will automatically provide a written acknowledgment.

3. Recurring Donations

Authorization

By setting up a recurring donation, you authorize Warriors Healing Center LLC to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually) until you cancel.

Managing Recurring Donations

You may modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time by:

  • Contacting us at mail1@warriorscenter.agency
  • Calling us at +1 3606270686
  • Managing your donation through the Donorbox donor portal (if you created an account)

Notice Period

Please provide at least 5 business days' notice before your next scheduled donation date to ensure changes are processed in time.

Failed Transactions

If a recurring donation transaction fails (due to expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), we will attempt to contact you to update your payment information. We reserve the right to cancel recurring donations after multiple failed attempts.

4. Refund Policy

General Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, it is considered a completed charitable contribution. However, we understand that errors can occur.

Refund Requests

We will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were accidentally charged more than once for the same donation
  • Processing errors: If there was a technical error that resulted in an incorrect charge amount
  • Unauthorized transactions: If you believe your payment method was used without your authorization

Request Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the donation date. Requests submitted after 30 days will not be considered.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at mail1@warriorscenter.agency with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Email address used for the donation
  • Donation amount and date
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Transaction ID (if available)

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited to the original payment method. We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the criteria above.

5. Designated Donations

General Fund vs. Designated

When making a donation, you may choose to designate it for a specific purpose (such as PTSD support, substance recovery, etc.) or contribute to our General Fund.

General Fund

Donations to the General Fund are used where the need is greatest. This allows us to respond quickly to urgent situations and support warriors who might otherwise fall through the cracks.

Designated Donations

We will make reasonable efforts to honor your designation. However, we reserve the right to redirect designated funds if:

  • The designated purpose is fully funded
  • The designated program is discontinued
  • Circumstances change such that the designation is no longer applicable

In such cases, funds will be redirected to similar programs or the General Fund.

6. Fraud and Abuse Prevention

Fraudulent Donations

We take fraud prevention seriously. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any donation that appears fraudulent
  • Report suspected fraud to appropriate authorities
  • Require additional verification for large donations

Stolen Payment Information

If you believe your payment information has been stolen and used to make unauthorized donations, please contact us immediately and report the incident to your financial institution and local law enforcement.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company for a donation, we may contest the chargeback if we have evidence that the donation was authorized. We reserve the right to ban donors who initiate fraudulent chargebacks from making future donations.

7. Processing Fees

Payment processing fees are deducted from donations. These fees are charged by payment processors (such as credit card companies and Donorbox) and are standard for all electronic transactions. The typical processing fee is approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

You may choose to cover the processing fee during checkout, which ensures that 100% of your intended donation amount goes to our programs.

8. Large Donations

For donations over $5,000, we may require additional verification, including:

  • Confirmation of donor identity
  • Source of funds declaration
  • Signed donation agreement

This helps us comply with anti-money laundering regulations and ensures the integrity of our donation process.

9. Donor Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect donor information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information to third parties. Donor information is used solely for donation processing, acknowledgment, and communication about our mission.

10. Donation Receipts

You will receive an email receipt for each donation. This receipt includes:

  • Donation amount
  • Date of donation
  • Organization name and EIN
  • Statement that no goods or services were provided (if applicable)

Please retain your receipt for tax purposes. If you need a duplicate receipt, contact us at mail1@warriorscenter.agency.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Donation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued donations after changes are posted constitute acceptance of the updated policy.
